Do you need to add the second side to your contract?

If you have already read how to add the first side to the contract and know how to do it, then this step will be very easy!

Please note that the second side can be labelled in different ways depending on the nature of the contract. For example, in Lodger Licence Agreement the second side is a LODGER, in the Tenancy Amendment Letter the second side is TENANT, etc.

The contract we will use as an example will be a Non-Disclosure Agreement where the second side is the RECIPIENT OR DISCLOSER.

The first step is to create a contract you need and save the terms. Then you will be able to add people to your agreement.

To add a party to the other side click ADD RECIPIENT OR DISCLOSER.

Choose an option you need:

  • The Discloser will sign the contract (where the Discloser is a person or a group of people)

  • A signatory will sign on the Discloser's behalf (where the Discloser is a person or a company)

Our example: A signatory will sign on a company's behalf

After that, fill in the information of the Discloser or Recipient. In the case, where there's a signatory of the Discloser or Company, it's mandatory to provide the information of both.

Our example: as a signatory on a company's behalf, we have to provide

1. Company's information

2. Signatory's information

Check if the information of a company and a signatory is correct.

You can invite a signatory at the moment or do it later.

Well done! Now we have our second party added to the contract.
